3 of the best sleep solutions - Aromatherapy Associates, Neom, This Works

sleep solutions

As a new parent, it's easy to focus so much on creating the perfect sleep scenario for your little ones, you forget about yourself.
Whilst it may be true that parenthood can be so exhausting you fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow, for others, there are a number of reasons why it may still be difficult to fall asleep - perhaps you struggle with flashbacks from a traumatic birth/labour experience , you may be too busy thinking about all the things you have to do  or it may just be that for the first time in a long time, your baby is asleep  but your body clock is  still used to being awake!

Here are three product ranges which focus on sleep and relaxation I really could not live without:

Aromatherapy associates - deep relax balm

"the powerful combination of vetivert, camomile and sandalwood essential oils in this rich, deeply sensuous balm will gently soothe your mind, body and soul to ensure a blissful night of slumber."

Deep relax oil - "Experience the seriously relaxing and restful powers of vetivert, camomile and sandalwood for a tranquil night"

The bottle pictured is part of the Perfect partners set which includes a Morning revive oil.

(Click here for my blog post and review of the revive oil)

The Aromatherapy Associates products mentioned above differ to the rest in that they are applied directly to the skin which means they are absorbed directly into the bloodstream for a powerful effect - because of this, and the fact that the percentage of essential oils is so high they are not recommended for use if you are pregnant. The aromas of these essential oils are powerful and work incredibly well at promoting a sense of rest and relaxation.

NB * If you
are pregnant and would like to enjoy the Aromatherapy Associates range the following will be suitable:

- Any of the body washes

- Anything from the Rose / enrich range

- Support Supersensitive Body oil

- All facial products apart from the Intensive Skin treatment oil

Neom tranquility spray

"All our products are 100% natural, ethically sourced and finely crafted in Britain from sustainable origins with absolutely no artificial ingredients - with true wellbeing benefits to aid sleep, de-stress, boost energy, lift your mood or calm and relax."

This spray has been well used! The packaging is now slightly different to the picture above and the product is part of their 'scent to sleep' range.

The whole range includes bath and shower oil, bath foam, reed diffuser, room spray and a candle!

I have only tried the spray, which in itself smells amazing and is a great overall scent for your room - not just for bedtime. If the other products in the range are as relaxing as the spray, this is a sleep regime well worth trying out.

This works - deep sleep pillow spray

"Infused with essential oils of Lavender, Vetivert and Wild camomile"

Here is a spray that goes directly onto my pillow, and has done for some months now because this is also safe to use during pregnancy!

Not only does this smell great, but the cool crisp packaging appeals equally to #Daddywears who has been spotted spritzing down his own 'side' of the bed linen on a few occasions too! This Works also make a candle in this range (not pictured).

And just in case you are still worrying too much about getting your baby to sleep, or perhaps you 'co-sleep' and would like an option that works for all, This Works have brought out a limited edition Sleep like a prince baby sleep spray to " help settle your baby to sleep with this safety approved, natural sleep solution"

I haven't tried this one, so I can't give any indication as to how effective it may be - although I suspect it may be on my review list soon!
